Abstract

This article reviews the current status, ongoing progress, and future prospects of relations between Peru and Brazil, considered from the perspectives of border integration and cooperation, economic and commercial relations, political and security dialogue, environmental sustainability, and sociocultural development, seeking to identify key elements of progress, obstacles, and promising prospects in each area.

    Licenciado en Relaciones Internacionales por la Academia Diplomática del Perú, máster en Filosofía por la Universidad Panthéon-Sorbona y máster en administración pública del Harvard Kennedy School. Es diplomático de carrera y ha ejercido funciones en París, Roma, Viena, Dubái y Santiago de Chile. Actualmente es embajador del Perú en Brasil.
