Abstract

Imagining Project, created at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid provides anunderstanding of terms by associating imagery content and message. This work presents conceptsfrom the field of information science, focusing on the archival terminology, where the concepts of file collection, context, content, original title, organicity and standardization are represented by imagesproduced during the course of Photograph Collections Program Graduate in Information Science fromthe University of Brasilia (UNB), with the support of developed teaching in Spain. The exerciseprovided an in?depth discussion of the concepts associated with the treatment of photographicdocuments of different file and assimilation of these concepts by students participating in the project.
