Author Biography

  • Rommel Plasencia Soto, National University of San Marcos

    PhD in Anthropology from the University of Seville and serves as a principal professor in the Department of Anthropology at the National University of San Marcos. He has published "Inquisitions / Anthropology" (2015) and "Tourism resources of the Asháninca society of the Peruvian central jungle" with Melisa Sánchez (2012). He has research articles on tourism anthropology, ethnicity and Andean studies in Peruvian,Colombian, Spanish and Japanese journals. Currently, he participates in a study on medium-sized mining and peasant communities in the province of Huancayo together with researchers from the University of Bonn and the University of Central Peru, results will be published in a collective book in Germany.
