PERMANENT OPEN CALL

Contabilidad y Negocios Journal by Academic Department of Accounting Sciences of Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú invites submission of original and unpublished contributions on the areas related to the lines of research promoted by the  Academic Department of Accounting Sciences of Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú: Administration, Current Affairs on Accounting, Management Accounting, Auditing, Banking and Finance, and Business Ethics. Such contributions may be published and spread over the academia and specialized audience after double-bind review assessment is carried out by appointed referees.

SECOND CALL FOR PAPERS

ORGANIZATIONAL TRANSFORMATION, LEADERSHIP AND STRATEGY IN THE ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND SUSTAINABILITY ERA

 1. Accepted topics

  • Strategic decision-making in AI-driven environments.
  • Strategic leadership in organizational transformation processes.
  • Artificial intelligence as a factor enabling strategic change.
  • Organizational design, management control, and new structures in the digital era.
  • Leadership for sustainability and organizational change.

2. Guest editor

He holds a PhD in Accounting by Universitat de València, Spain (2008), and conducted a postdoctoral fellowship at Universidad Pablo de Olavide, Spain (2020). He is a researcher holding a Productivity Fellowship in CNPq 1-D Research (Brazil). He is currently an undergraduate and postgraduate professor of the Department of Accounting Science of Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC). He has been Coordinator of the Postgraduate Program – Doctorate in Accounting of the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC) since February 2024. In addition, he is a researcher for the Center of Research in Management Control and Management Control Systems of such university, and has held the position of AICOGestión Researcher Director since February 2022.

3. Important dates

  • Submission: July 31st, 2026*
  • Preliminar decisions and reviews: until September 30th, 2026
  • Final decision: until October 31st, 2026
  • Editing and publishing: Second semester of 2026

STRATEGIC USE AND IMPACTS OF EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES ON ACCOUNTING, MANAGEMENT AND AUDITING CONTEXTS

 

 1. Accepted topics

  • Conception, implementation and use of analytics and Data Science to enhance accounting, managerial and decision-making processes;
  • Application of analytics and Data Science in specific and public sectors;
  • Performance evaluation, risk analysis and fraud detection using analytics and Data Science techniques;
  • Data visualization and design of dashboards to provide accounting and managerial data;
  • Models and strategies for data administration and management integrating internal and external sources;
  • Use of exogenous variables for accounting and managerial data enrichment;
  • Development of information systems based on data-driven insights;
  • Impact of emerging technologies (such as artificial intelligence, Blockchain and Big Data) in the accounting, management and auditing fields;
