Abstract

This essay delves into the understanding of interdisciplinarity from various theoretical approaches within artistic research, based on the experience of the Interdisciplinary Workshop at the University of Chile. Through teaching evaluations from 2023 and 2024, and personal experiences, it offers a reflection on the potential of integrating interdisciplinary training and the aspects to be considered for its development. The essay’s theoretical framework debates the role of art in Latin American society and hopes to contribute to future research in art pedagogy by promoting a critical vision of interdisciplinarity and artistic research in the university sphere.
