Abstract

In this article, it is intended to deepen the knowledge of the cooperation principle, trying to know if it has a parallel, and in what terms, in the civil process of Countries of the same cultural area to which it belongs the Portuguese law, how it arose and developed in Portugal, and, eventually, to answer the question consistent in know if we are facing a new procedural model or on the contrary a cosmetic make-up of the inquisitorial principle.
