Abstract

In this article an analysis of the problems of the Metropolitan Lima transportation system is carried out, focusing on those factors that could aggravate the effects of COVID-19, and that limit the options to implement public policies in transportation. Also, the measures implemented in the city such as subsidies and the expansion of bicycle lanes are analysed. The objective is to identify the main barriers that will be faced to carry out urban mobility policies in the following months.
