Abstract

This article focuses on the relationship between education and health, and the relevance of the school in a comprehensive teaching. Specifically, the article develops different conceptions about the health, education, health promotion and healthy lifestyles taking into account the contributions of authoritative sources. In addition to the theoretical approach, the author introduces a reflection about the health education in the Peruvian context.

  • Yrene Gloria Chamorro Bacilio
    Magíster en Educación de la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP), mención en Currículo. Adicionalmente ha obtenido el Diploma de Segunda Especialidad en Formación Magisterial, así como el Diploma de Segunda Especialidad en Gestión de Escuelas Promotoras de la Salud (PUCP). A lolargo de su trayectoria se ha desempeñado como docente en la escuela pública, capacitadora de docentes y también como docente en el nivel de educación superior en temas sobre currículo y gestión educativa.
