Algunos constituyentes de Uncaria Guianensis

Abstract

Mitraphylline, a pentacyclic oxindolc alkaloid, has bcen isolatcd from
the leaves of Uncaria guimensis. Furthermore, seven phenolic compounds ha-
ve lxen detccted as being present in thc bark of this plant; two of them were
separatcd as glycosides and isolated as aglycones; we propose the structures of
kaernpherol and dihydrokaempherol for them.
