Discovered and excavated by Frédéric Engel, Disco Verde is a key site to reconstruct a sequence of early pottery styles of the Paracas zone, in particular, and the south coast, in general. In this article, we present the preliminary results of the Paracas Archaeological Project excavations at the site, especially in relation to the stratigraphy, chronometry and associated ceramic styles.Downloads
