Abstract

The current Argentine narrative proliferates with authors whose works offer disruptive perspectives from themes such as femininity and feminism. In this work, the story “Mujeres desesperadas” by Samanta Schweblin and “Las cosas que perdimos en el fuego” by Mariana Enríquez are approached from the hypothesis that both adopt a modality of the fantastic genre, the weird, and weave it with bodies. feminine aspects of his characters, transforming them into a disruptive mechanism within the patriarchal system.
