Abstract

Susana Reisz Candreva (Buenos Aires, 1941), university professor, literary critic and doctor in Classical Philology from the University of Heidelberg in Germany. Author of the books: Teoría Literaria. Una propuesta (1986), Teoría y análisis del texto literario (1989) and Voces sexuadas. Género y poesía en Hispanoamérica (1996). She was dean of the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú between 2011 and 2017. She is part of the Gender Studies Research Group of the PUCP. In the following interview with Espinela she shares her impressions about her teaching work, the beginnings of gender and feminism studies in Peru, the trends in literary studies and her research projects. Espinela joins the tribute that the PUCP gave her in 2022 for her academic career.
