Abstract

This essay analyzes the novels La mujer cambiada (2008) and Nada que declarar (2013) by the Peruvian writer Teresa Ruiz Rosas, from the perspective of forced displacement, which serves as the narrative axes through which her female characters develop. Thus, geographical space, the body as territory, power relations, and the materiality of the body as a repository of historical violence frame and propose a political reading of these narratives. Concepts by Josefina Ludmer, Rita Segato, Sayak Valencia, Judith Butler, and others are examined.
