Abstract

This study explores the macroprudential policy measures established in the Basel III agreement which were adopted in Peru. Likewise, explores the macroprudential policy actions implemented by the supervisory agency of the financial system in Peru and in different countries to preserve financial stability during the COVID-19 crisis. Additionally, using the Z-Score methodology, in the years prior the COVID-19 in crisis, it was observed that the indicator of the financial stability maintained an increasing trend. On the other hand, the materialization of risks as a consequence of the COVID-19 crisis causes a drop in the indicator of financial stability.
