¿Cómo se combate la informalidad en América Latina y el Caribe?

Abstract

In the last decade, Latin America and the Caribbean have faced a problem that has severely weakened their economic stability: informality. This essay is in charge of analyzing both the effect that this phenomenon has on the labor market and some obstacles that make it difficult to overcome this problem. In addition to this, due to the arrival of COVID-19 and the subsequent economic recession that was generated from it, certain socioeconomic changes that the region went through are studied.
