Abstract

Saint Thomas Aquinas cannot be considered as a simple thinker anchored in the Middle Ages, whose pre-modern philosophy does not lead to repercussions in current philosophical thought. On the contrary, an analysis of his representative realistic conceptualist stance reveals that his doctrine can and must strengthen our present epistemological disquisitions.
