Efeito das estratégias de gestão de riscos na seleção de fornecedores na Autoridade para o Desenvolvimento da Bacia Inferior do Rio Benue, Makurdi, Nigéria

Este estudo explorou como as estratégias de gestão de riscos influenciam a seleção de fornecedores na Autoridade de Desenvolvimento da Bacia do Baixo Rio Benue (LBRBDA), em Makurdi. A pesquisa foi motivada pela crescente importância de uma seleção eficaz de fornecedores nas compras públicas e pela necessidade de avaliar como as organizações lidam com os riscos relacionados à aquisição. O estudo examinou especificamente os efeitos da evasão de risco, mitigação de risco e transferência de risco na seleção de fornecedores. Foi utilizado um desenho de pesquisa transversal, com uma abordagem censitária que abrangeu toda a população de 101 funcionários. Dos questionários distribuídos, 86 foram devolvidos, o que representa uma taxa de resposta de 85,1%, considerada estatisticamente sólida. Os dados foram coletados por meio de questionários estruturados e analisados utilizando estatísticas descritivas e inferenciais, particularmente análise de regressão múltipla. Os resultados indicaram que cada estratégia teve um efeito positivo significativo na seleção de fornecedores: evasão de risco (? = 0,415, p = 0,000), mitigação de risco (? = 0,476, p = 0,000) e transferência de risco (? = 0,365, p = 0,001). O estudo conclui que a adoção de estratégias integrais de gestão de riscos melhora significativamente a seleção de fornecedores nas contratações do setor público. Recomenda-se que a LBRBDA institucionalize a evasão e a mitigação de riscos de maneira estruturada no planejamento de aquisições, aplicando estrategicamente mecanismos de transferência de riscos para fortalecer a confiabilidade e a resiliência dos fornecedores.
