Sh heads the Interdisciplinary Research Group on Memory and Democracy. Honorary professor at the National University of San Cristóbal de Huamanga. Works on memory and post-conflict, art, body and visuality; In addition, she is interested in inquiries about ethnography and methodology in Anthropology.

  • Denise Blum Oklahoma State University

    PhD in Curricular Studies, with specialization in anthropology, at The University of Texas at Austin. She is an associate professor in the Oklahoma State University Department of Education. She specializes in Anthropology of Education, and has conducted research in Cuba and Mexico. Her research focuses on the role of markets, governments, and political economy in structuring education, socializing cultural identity, and equity issues in societies. She has published "Cuban Youth and Revolutionary Values: Educating the New Socialist Citizen" (2011).
