Anthropologica of the Department of Social Sciences is a publication of the Anthropology specialty of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú), edited since 1983. The journal delivers original unpublished works which are the result of the most recent empirical and ethnographic Peruvian and international research within anthropology and related disciplines, with a special emphasis on the Andean and Amazon region. It is aimed at anthropology scholars, university professors and researchers of the social and human sciences.

The journal is made up of four sections: Articles, Reviews, Translations, and Testimonies for the history of anthropology. The themes within these sections can be very diverse as can be seen when reviewing the issues previously published. They must, however, be relevant to anthropology and related disciplines.

Articles and reviews are submitted to blind arbitration by specialists in the field, external to the institution.

If you wish to collaborate with us with some research work, please review the Call for Papers and the Editorial and Ethical guidelines

Anthropologica is indexed in SciELO, Redalyc, Latindex, Ebsco Host, Cengage, DOAJ y CLASE
