Rights and Open Access Policy
Anthropologica publishes, simultaneously in print and virtual versions, its original and unpublished pieces in the open access mode. All the collection, from issue number 1, is available for free consultation.
Anthropologica does not charge any fee for submission or processing of articles,
The author / co-authors consent to the publishing of Anthropologica (in which the article of the author/s is included) under the ownership of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, and under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0), which allows third parties to reproduce, distribute, transform and redistribute derivative works under the conditions they want, provided that the authorship of the original creation is recognized and the use does not pursue commercial purposes.
Authors who publish in this journal agree to the following terms:
- Authors retain the copyrights to their work and guarantee the journal the right to be the first to publish it as well as to do it under a Creative Commons Attribution License which allows others to share it provided that the authorship of the original creation, and the journal of first publication, are recognized.
- Authors may separately establish additional agreements for the non-exclusive distribution of the version of the work published in the journal (for example, place it in an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with recognition of its initial publication in this journal.
- Authors are allowed and encouraged to disseminate their work electronically (for example, in institutional repositories or on their own websites) before and during the submission process, as it may result in productive exchanges, as well as an earliest and largest citation of the published works.
- Anthropologica reserves the right to correct the redaction of all material and submit it to style correction when it deems appropriate, and with strict respect for the author's work, in order to: a) standardize criteria and b) clear doubts or confusion arising from style.
- The publication of a material implies the patrimonial transfer of the same, and the permission of disclosure that electronic scopes provide today, always respecting author´s moral rights. In the event authors wish to disseminate or reissue their works, published in Anthropologica, for academic or scientific purposes, by other means and free of charge, they may do so by stating the date and reference to the original publication in Anthropologica, and after at least four months of the initial publication in the journal. Finally, the editor of the journal must be notified about this reissue.
