Costs in EsSalud’s Economic Benefits System: Subsidies by the Employer

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the problem of labor subsidies in the Social Health Insurance system - EsSalud from the perspective of the employer of the private sector, who must follow the procedure of subsidy reimbursement, as well as other related procedures. In this way, the first sections have the issues of social security and what the modalities of subsidies involve; while in the following sections, we analyze the problems with the subsidy reimbursement procedures at the employer’s expense.
