Inteligência artificial nas finanças: uma revisão da literatura

Em todos os aspetos do setor financeiro — desde a tomada de decisões até a gestão de riscos, deteção de fraudes e atendimento ao cliente — a inteligência artificial (IA) está a causar mudanças significativas. Este artigo analisa a aplicação da IA nas finanças e baseia-se em mais de 40 artigos indexados pela Scopus, que fornecem algumas perspetivas novas. Com a ajuda de algoritmos avançados de aprendizagem automática e aprendizagem profunda, os bancos estão a alcançar níveis sem precedentes de eficiência e serviço personalizado. Esta investigação analisa as principais aplicações da IA, destacando o seu papel potencial na tomada de decisões estratégicas e na avaliação de riscos. No entanto, também analisa criticamente os principais desafios, tais como questões de privacidade de dados, como explicar modelos sob escrutínio humano (ou seja, teoricamente impossível) e considerações éticas associadas à implementação da IA. A evolução das tecnologias de IA cria não só oportunidades disruptivas, mas também questões regulatórias complexas para os serviços financeiros. Ao compilar as conclusões da presente investigação, esta revisão oferece uma descrição abrangente de como a IA está a remodelar o campo das finanças e a oferecer orientações para o que está por vir.
