Open Access Policy

The journal Revista Kawsaypacha: Society and Environment is committed to the academic community to promote the exchange of information and the development of scientific knowledge on topics related to the interaction between society and the environment. In this regard, it promotes ethical best practices in scientific production among all contributors and adopts international standards of scientific communication and open science practices.

It publishes original and unpublished articles under open access license, providing free and immediate access to all journal’s content including the first issue. Thus, it does not charge neither article processing charges nor article submission.

The author(s)/ co-authors give PUCP their consent to publish his article in the journal Revista Kawsaypacha: Society and Environment under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY-4.0), which allows readers and users to share (copy and redistribute the material in any media or format), adapt (remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially). You can do so under the following restrictions: Attribution — You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses you or your use.

The author/co-authors retain copyright in the article.

In case the author/co-authors wish to re-edit the approved article, the date on which it was originally published in the journal Revista Kawsaypacha; Sociedad y Medio Ambiente must be provided and the journal’s Editor must be informed on this re-edition.

Finally, authors can save their article in the repository or personal website once it has been published in the journal Revista Kawsaypacha: Sociedad y Medio Ambiente. Immediately after its publication, the journal will ensure it is included in databases and index systems in which we collaborate; as well as carrying out several media strategies to disseminate it on digital media.
