Abstract

Digital markets have become an instrument of development. One of the most important applications of technological disruption for the financial system is cryptoassets and cryptocurrencies. This article analyzes some advances in the regulation of these digital species, with a view to contributing to the conceptualization of an institutional framework that balances technological innovation (markets) with the limitations that may arise from regulation (the State).
