Receipt and reviewing of papers
Authors will be informed when the papers have been admitted to the editorial process and the evaluation process will begin.
The papers will be evaluated by peers external to the editorial team, under the “double blind” modality. This anonymous collaboration seeks to guarantee the scientific contribution of the articles and their relevance within the scope of the Journal.
Authors whose papers are recommended for publication “with minor” or “substantial” corrections will have six weeks (calendar days) to send the corrected manuscript, starting from the date on which the evaluation results are sent to them.
Authors should pay attention to the evaluators' and Editorial Committee's appreciations, comments and suggestions, correcting their work accordingly. They also have the right to reply to those observations with which they do not agree, duly indicating the reasons for this.
The authors will send the corrected manuscript and, together with it, a document that summarizes all the changes made to the original manuscript, according to the observations made by the reviewers and the Editorial Committee. In this document they can also answer those that were not accepted, justifying their decision. For this purpose, the journal provides a model, called "Guidelines for modifications".
The Editorial Committee will finally decide on the acceptance of the paper for publication after receiving the corrected manuscript.
