El papel del sexismo ambivalente en la violencia filio-parental

Resumen

El objetivo del estudio es evaluar el impacto del sexismo ambivalente en la violencia filio-parental, considerando como cofactores la estructura familiar, sexo del adolescente y edad. Participaron 1,115 adolescentes chilenos, 52% eran varones y 48% mujeres. Se aplicó el Cuestionario de Violencia entre Hijos y Padres y el Inventario de Sexismo Ambivalente. Se utilizó la técnica de árbol de regresión, bajo la métrica Chi-cuadrado (CHAID). La violencia filio-parental se explica por la edad del adolescente y el sexismo hostil para todos los tipos de agresión. La estructura familiar explica la agresión psicológica hacia ambos padres. El sexismo benévolo y el sexo del adolescente explican la agresión psicológica hacia la madre y la agresión física hacia ambos progenitores. Se sugiere profundizar en este perfil de familias.
