Presentation N° 17 (2026)

Abstract

We are pleased to present Issue 17 of Kawsaypacha: Society and Environment, featuring insightful and valuable contributions from a diverse group of authors. This issue brings together a significant number of articles organized into three sections. The first is a dossier entitled “Bodies of Water”, comprising seven research articles. The second includes fifteen academic articles and essays that have been submitted to our journal. Finally, the third section contains five articles and reflections on the encyclical Laudato si’, published just over eleven years ago.

Our commitment remains to support research on issues at the intersection of society and the environment. We believe that this interdisciplinary space provides fertile ground not only for academic debate but also for the development of public policy proposals addressing socio-environmental challenges. Examining the complexity of contemporary realities is essential for identifying solutions and alternatives to the problems we face today.
