Revista Kawsaypacha: Sociedad y Medio Ambiente (Kawsaypacha Journal: Society and Environment) is the research journal of the Instituto de Ciencias de la Naturaleza y Energía - Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (INTE-PUCP). It is indexed in SCOPUS, SciELO, LATINDEX and others.
Kawsaypacha (means “World of Life” in Quechua, a native language of the Andean region). This journal contributes to the academic debate that analyzes the relationship between society and the environment from different perspectives; promotes an interdisciplinary reflection and offers innovative approaches and tools to understand the growing complexity of our relationship with nature and socio-environmental sustainability. For this, we adopt international standards of scientific communication and open science practices.
The journal welcomes original and unpublished academic texts from both national and international graduate researchers and thesis writers. These texts should address research, studies, and technological innovations related to socio-environmental issues, which undergo a rigorous academic arbitration process through the double-blind peer review modality. Manuscripts written in Spanish, English, or Portuguese are accepted.
The points of views expressed in the articles published on Revista Kawsaypacha: Sociedad y Medio Ambiente are on the strict responsibility of their authors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the Editorial Team.
It is a semi-anual journal. The articles of each issue are published continuously.
