About the journal

ISSN: 1995-2929
e-ISSN: 2411-8834

IUS ET VERITAS is a legal journal, funded by the Civil Association IUS ET VERITAS and specifically developed by the Editorial Team, also known as the Publications Committee. Each issue of the Journal presents a series of unpublished articles of high investigative rigor from different national and international authors. The articles develop current topics that are relevant to the academic public.

The target audience for each issue is students, professionals and researchers of law and related sciences.

Periodicity

IUS ET VERITAS, since its inception, has been a biannual journal. Currently, the first period of publication covers the months of January to July, and the second period, the months of August to December, since issue 61.

Academic Endogamy

The IUS ET VERITAS Journal, according to international standards, avoids incurring in academic inbreeding. Consequently, at least 70% of the works published in each edition are collaborations outside the institutional affiliation of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (with at least one author outside the aforementioned institution).

Waiting list

Articles will be published according to the date of acceptance, and those articles that are left out of an issue will be placed on a waiting list, and their publication will be evaluated for the following issue.

If the article is placed on the waiting list, the author will be informed that, in the next issue of the Journal, it will be published in the General Section. If this is not possible, the author may withdraw the article and submit it to another journal or academic publication.
