The IUS ET VERITAS Journal was founded on June 1, 1990 by the Civil Association of the same name, composed of students and graduates of the Law School of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. Since that date, IUS ET VERITAS has uninterruptedly developed its work of contributing to the knowledge of law and research, and promoting intellectual debate in the different areas of legal sciences and other branches of knowledge. In order to achieve this, IUS ET VERITAS publishes legal and interdisciplinary research articles.

In addition, the Journal has two sections: (i) Main Section and (ii) General Section.
