About the Journal
Aims and Scope
Kaylla provides a meeting point for performing arts, generating reflection from theoretical and practical content on topics such as performance, theater, dance, music, stage creation and production, and its multi, inter and transdisciplinary intersections.
As an open-access journal specializing in performing arts, Kaylla is primarily aimed at researchers, artists, and students interested in our covered topics. The journal's objective is to disseminate the advances and results of research, as well as theories, methodologies, and debates in the area. We accept manuscripts in Spanish, Portuguese, and English.

Periodicity
Kaylla is an annual journal with a permanent call for papers (Flujo Continuo) and a thematic section (Dossier). The Dossier is published every November 15th in digital format.

Open Access Declaration
Kaylla is an open-access journal, its content is available for consultation and download completely free of charge.
The journal is published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International CC BY 4.0 license, which allows users to share, adapt, reproduce, distribute, transform, and redistribute derivative works, provided that the original authorship is attributed.
Authors hold the copyright for their respective manuscripts.
Kaylla is a non-profit project. In this sense, manuscripts do not require any Article Processing Fees (APCs), reviewers and guest editors do not receive any monetary compensation. The journal is funded by the Academic Department of Performing Arts of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru.
This journal is archived in the PKP Preservation Network (PN) of OJS, as well as in the Library System of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru.
As part of our institution's policy supporting open access publications, Kaylla facilitates the deposit of its contents in other institutional repositories and/or on the authors' websites. The approved documents for deposit consist of manuscripts already published by the journal, including the header and official numeration (final versions).
Kaylla is a signatory of the Declaration on Research Assessment (DORA) and is fully committed to its aims for the benefit of scholarly production.
