Razones del Voto Inválido en las Elecciones Presidenciales del 2021 en Perú

Esta investigación explora las razones detrás del voto inválido en la segunda vuelta de las elecciones presidenciales peruanas del año 2021. Se llevaron a cabo 17 entrevistas semiestructuradas con personas cuyos votos fueron emitidos con la intención de ser invalidados. La entrevista profundiza en las motivaciones para emitir un voto inválido y en los factores asociados a ello. Los hallazgos sugieren que los entrevistados votaron de manera inválida principalmente por el descontento con la oferta política durante la campaña presidencial de la segunda vuelta. La alta percepción de corrupción y la polarización política influyeron en esta decisión, destacando la disminución del interés político. Estos resultados resaltan la crisis de legitimidad y representatividad política en el Perú en dicho contexto, mostrando que el voto inválido funciona como una manifestación concreta de desafección ciudadana frente al sistema político.
