Objective: This study aimed to analyze occupational stress management in psychologists from Metropolitan Lima who implemented teleconsultation during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: Qualitative research was conducted following a reflexive thematic analysis design, comprising 12 semi-structured interviews with psychologists working in public and private spheres. Results: The results show that the pandemic led to a labor demand that entailed a cognitive and emotional work burden, and different ways of managing stress were used, such as perception of control at work, while using emotional, instrumental, and informative social support. Conclusions: Psychologists seek to cope with occupational stress through the perception of control at work and their search for social support.
