A relação entre o desenvolvimento positivo dos jovens e a migração: Um estudo qualitativo sobre o bem-estar mental dos jovens albaneses

Resumo

Este estudo qualitativo examina a interligação entre o Desenvolvimento Positivo da Juventude (PYD), o bem-estar e as tendências migratórias entre os jovens na Albânia, com foco no quadro dos 5Cs: competência, confiança, conexão, cuidado e caráter. Os dados foram coletados por meio de oito grupos focais com 62 participantes com idades entre 16 e 24 anos em Tirana e analisados utilizando a análise temática. Os resultados revelam que as percepções de competência e confiança pessoais, a qualidade das conexões sociais e os valores relacionados ao caráter desempenham um papel central na formação do bem-estar dos jovens e em suas considerações sobre a migração. Os resultados destacam a complexa interação entre recursos individuais e sociais na tomada de decisões dos jovens. Essas percepções orientam a concepção de intervenções direcionadas para promover ambientes de apoio, empoderamento dos jovens e bem-estar geral.
