Convivência Social e Motivações: Compreendendo o que Atrai os Jovens Visitantes aos Parques Urbanos

Os parques urbanos configuram-se como infraestruturas públicas essenciais para a recreação, a socialização e o bem-estar psicológico; contudo, sua relevância para as gerações mais jovens em sociedades crescentemente digitalizadas permanece pouco investigada. Este estudo enfrenta essa lacuna ao examinar em que medida os jovens visitantes continuam engajados em comportamentos sociais nos parques. Com base em 97 entrevistas estruturadas realizadas em São Paulo, Salvador, Lima e Arequipa, adota-se um desenho qualitativo de orientação interpretativista. Os resultados revelam que o relaxamento, o contato com a natureza e a interação entre pares são as motivações predominantes, enquanto a conectividade digital funciona tanto como facilitadora quanto como distração. O estudo evidencia os parques urbanos como arenas sociodigitais híbridas e conclama os formuladores de políticas a projetarem espaços inclusivos, seguros e multifuncionais.
