Bajo la lupa de la química del estado sólido: una breve introducción a la familia de las carbodiimidas/cianamidas

Resumen

Las cianamidas y carbodiimidas de metales son un grupo interesante de compuestos inorgánicos dentro de la química del estado sólido. Se han estudiado ampliamente en los últimos años y se han conseguido preparar compuestos de este tipo con metales de todos los grupos: alcalinos, alcalinotérreos, del bloque p, de transición y con tierras raras. Este trabajo es una introducción a esta familia de compuestos en el que se describe las formas de cristalización, los métodos de síntesis y algunas de las aplicaciones potenciales en baterías de ion litio o de ion sodio, así como posibles diodos emisores de luz y como materiales fotoluminiscentes.
