Notas para una propuesta sobre las relaciones entre familia y educación: rol de los padres en el aprendizaje de la lectura y la comprensión lectura

Abstract

This article deals with the role of the family in the education of Peruvian children in the context of the different factors that bear a direct or indirect influence over their learning. It suggests that schools should assume leadership in trying to incorporate the families to the learning process, helping them help their children. Research results are summarized. Comments about the Peruvian case are also provided.
