Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The manuscript submitted to Kawsaypacha Journal has not been submitted or published in any other journal.
  • I have reviewed the Guide for authors and Etical Guidelines and I subscribe them.
  • The Previous Page has been prepared with the complete data of the authors.
  • In the header of the text, place the title (size 10 pts.) and the pages are numbered at the bottom right.
  • The tables are inserted in the text (word or excel) so that, if it is required, they can be directly edited.
  • The tables are numbered consecutively. In each table, the respective sources have been registered and, if applicable, it has been indicated that it is own elaboration.
  • The Figures are numbered consecutively. In each one, the respective sources have been registered. If it is the case, it has been indicated that it is own elaboration.
  • The text has been prepared ensuring that there is NO element that indicates who the author is. Anexo 3. How to ensure that all files are anonymous.
  • The text has been prepared following the specifications indicated in Anexo 2. Recomendaciones para la elaboración del texto.
  • The figures are inserted in the text in low resolution, and the graphic files in high resolution are attached.
  • Whenever possible, the DOI or URL address has been provided in the references.
  • The text complies with all the requirements established in the Guide for authors
  • The definitions document has been reviewed to identify the type of manuscript to be submitted. Annex 1. Definition.

Author Guidelines

The author (whether an individual or the corresponding author of the work in co-authorship) who submits a manuscript to Revista Kawsaypacha: Sociedad y Medio Ambiente assumes responsibility that it is an original and unprecedented work, not having been previously published in any print (book or magazines, among others) or electronic media (including the Internet), nor submitted to be published in another journal. If there is a preliminary published version of the manuscript (whether print or electronic), the author must clearly provide in the presentation of the text the media in which the preliminary version was published as well as the updates and changes made.
