Open Access Policy

Debates en Sociología publishes original, unpublished articles in Open Access format, with its entire publication history available to readers free of charge.

Debates en Sociología is a non-profit endeavor, thus we do not have any Article Processing Charges (APCs) for submissions.

Authors consent that the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP) publishes the journal Debates en Sociología, of their authorship (which includes their articles), under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0) that allows others to share (copy and redistribute materials in any format or medium) and adapt (remix, transform and build upon the original work), even for commercial purposes, as long as the authorship of the original creation is credited.

Authors retain the copyright of their articles.

If the authors wish to republish the accepted article, they must agree to indicate the date on which it was originally published in the journal Debates en Sociología, as well as notifying to the editor of the journal about this republication.
