Digital Preservation Policies

The PUCP Journals Portal database uses Amazon Web Services (AWS) to operate. One of the features this service provides is the automatic creation of backup copies of stored data on other AWS servers located in different geographic regions. Thanks to this functionality, the PUCP Library System guarantees the permanent availability of both the contents and the backup copies, which are updated in real time.
