Taxonomía CRediT
The CRediT taxonomy, which provides a detailed classification of the various roles performed in the work leading to a published research outcome, promotes transparency in contributions to published works and facilitates improvement in attribution, credit, and accountability systems (Brand et al., 2015).
- Conceptualization: Formulation of ideas, objectives, and overall research goals.
- Methodology: Development and/or design of methodology, creation of models.
- Software: Programming and software development, designing computer programs, implementation of code and algorithms, code component testing.
- Validation: Verification of result replicability and reproducibility, experiments, and other research products.
- Formal Analysis: Application of statistical, mathematical, computational, or other procedures to analyze and synthesize data.
- Investigation: Conducting the formal research process, specifically performing experiments or gathering data/evidence.
- Resources: Provision of study materials, reagents, patients, animals, laboratory samples, instruments, computer resources, or other tools for analysis.
- Data Curation: Activities to generate metadata, clean data, and preserve research data for future reuse.
- Writing – Original Draft Preparation: Preparation, creation, and/or presentation of the published work, specifically drafting the initial draft (including translation).
- Writing – Review & Editing: Preparation, creation, and/or presentation of the published work by the original research team members, specifically critical review and comments, including pre or post-publication stages.
- Visualization: Preparation, creation, and/or presentation of the published work, specifically visualizing and presenting data.
- Supervision: Leadership and guidance in planning and executing the research, including advising the principal team.
- Project Administration: Management and coordination for planning and executing research activities.
- Funding Acquisition: Acquisition of financial support for project realization and publication.
Application Example:
At the end of each article, the type of authorship responsibility undertaken by each author will be included according to the following format:
