Open Access Policy

Open Access Policy

The Educación journal publishes original and unpublished articles under the open access modality, so they are available for consultation for free from the first issue of the journal.

Educación does not charge any type of fees for the submittal or processing of articles.

The author(s) agree to the publication by PUCP of the journal Educación (in which their essay, article or review is included, as the case may be), under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0) which allows others to distribute, combine, adjust, and build based on their work, including with commercial purposes, provided authorship of the original creation is acknowledged.

The author / co-authors retain the copyright on the article.

As part of the institutional policy to support open access publication, the Education journal facilitates the deposit of its articles in other Institutional Repositories and/or on the authors' website. The documents authorized to be deposited are:
- Manuscripts that have been peer-reviewed, incorporating the suggested corrections, and that have been accepted for publication (post-print version).
- The articles published in the journal, including the header and official numbering (final version).

In both cases, the author must meet the following requirements:
- The editor of the journal must be informed at the time the document is deposited.
- A hyperlink to the journal website must be included.
- The source of publication must always be recognized.

In the event that the author(s) wish to reedit the accepted article, they must agree to include the date it was originally published in Educación, as well as to notify the journal's editor of this re-edition.
