Focus and Scope
Educación is the academic journal of the Department of Education of Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. Its aim is to disseminate scientific production in education through original and unpublished articles that report on the results of empirical research projects, evaluative intervention studies, or diagnostic studies; systematic reviews of literature on education topics, as well as essays on education-related subjects and book reviews.
Educación is a space for the exchange of ideas and for the domestic and global dissemination of educational topics among academia and the public, seeking to contribute to the quality of education. Since its foundation, in 1992, it is published semi-annually, in March and September, on hard copy since 1992 and, electronically since 2009. Each issue of the journal is made up of academic articles that approach different topics within the educational area.

Length: 5,000 to 7,000 words
Essays
They include:
- Elaboration on explicit subjects
Length: 5,000 to 7,000 words
Reviews
They include:
- Summaries and commentaries on publications about educational topics
Length: 2,000 to 3,000 words
Documents that do not meet these criteria, will not be included in our issue.
