Explorando la actitud y expectativas en estudiantes de enseñanza primaria hacia el aprendizaje STEAM: un enfoque multidimensional en escuelas rurales en la insularidad de Chile

Este estudio investiga las actitudes y expectativas de estudiantes de enseñanza primaria hacia el aprendizaje STEAM en escuelas rurales de Chile, resaltando su relevancia en el desarrollo de habilidades del siglo XXI. Se utilizó un diseño mixto para realizar encuestas y entrevistas semiestructuradas con 54 estudiantes de quinto y sexto año en un contexto con limitaciones tecnológicas. Los resultados mostraron una percepción positiva hacia el aprendizaje STEAM, con altos niveles de motivación y preferencia por actividades artísticas y prácticas. Se concluye que es esencial promover la equidad en el acceso a la educación STEAM, que supere los estereotipos de género y las limitaciones de recursos, ya que una educación inclusiva puede ser fundamental para el futuro académico y profesional de los estudiantes en entornos rurales.
