Excavations at the Site of Uquira, Asia Valley
This note offers preliminary results of the excavations conducted in the site of Uquira, Asia valley, located 101 km south of Lima. Local and Inca occupations were identified along with data related to its particular functions ant its external relationships during Inca times. The archaeological remains also allow us to examine the Inka strategies employed to control a conquered territory.
