Abstract

Funerary Contexts at the Ancón Necropolis from Final Middle Horizon. Analytical Perspectives and Investigation

This note deals with the potential analytical strength of a series of funerary contexts from Ancón, attributed to Middle Horizon 4 and excavated during 1946 and 1949 by different teams of Peruvian archaeologists. This suggested analysis is based on an appropiate methodology of the reconstruction of contexts parting from extant documentation and associated objects.
