Open access policy

The Boletín de Arqueología PUCP publishes original and unpublished articles in open access mode, available for free perusal starting with the journal’s first issue, and for which no subscription rate is charged. The journal does not charge anything whatsoever for the submission of an article or its processing.

The author/coauthors consent to PUCP publishing the Boletín de Arqueología PUCP with their authorship (which includes their “article”), under the Creative Commons License Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0), which allows others to distribute, mix, adjust and build starting from their work, even with commercial purposes, so long as the authorship of the original creation is acknowledged.

The author/coauthors retain the copyright over the article.

Should the author/coauthors desire to republish the accepted article, they must agree to include the original date of publication in the Boletín de Arqueología PUCP, as well as to notify the journal’s editor regarding this reissue.

Finally, authors can store both the article’s pre-peer-review draft and the published version in a personal or institutional web repository or website, with the latter version either laid-out in the journal’s format or stating its forthcoming publication in the Boletín de Arqueología PUCP. Once an article has been published, the journal will immediately ensure its inclusion in the databases and indexing systems in which it participates, and will likewise apply various types of communication strategies in order to ensure its adequate dissemination through digital media.
