Policies for Digital Preservation

The database of the PUCP’s Journals Portal uses the Amazon Web Services (AWS). One of the characteristics this service has is the automatic backup of the data stored in other AWS servers located in different geographical regions. Thanks to this function, the PUCP’s Library System ensures the permanent availability both of the contents as well as of backups updated in real-time.
