Competência (inter)cultural no treinamento de tradutores e intérpretes peruanos

O objetivo deste trabalho é analisar, de uma perspectiva interdisciplinar, a evolução do termo cultura e sua relação com a competência cultural ou intercultural do tradutor. A ênfase é colocada no papel do tradutor como mediador e nos aspectos comportamentais e atitudinais da mediação intercultural, já que tradicionalmente a formação cultural do tradutor tem se concentrado na aquisição de conhecimentos declarativos. Várias propostas de competência intercultural são revisadas e são propostas diretrizes para seu ensino-aprendizagem nos
currículos dos programas de treinamento de tradutores e intérpretes que respondem às
necessidades do contexto peruano.
