Abstract

Archaeology and Ethnohistory at Vilcashuamán

This paper presents information on human occupation at Vilcashuaman based on written and material evidence which allow to trace its historical process. Special attention is dedicated to ceramics and architecture of the central highland people during the Late Intermediate Period in order to explain the Inca occupation of this area.
